HDR does not work on OLED steam deck. When you enable it in the options menu the rendering seemingly freezes but the game is still running and outputting audio. This is confirmed via the sound the menu makes when highlighting different options. You can blindly turn off HDR assuming you didn't stray from the option too much and all will work normally again.

I was hopeful the game would work since I played a bit of it on my desktop also running linux. However upon loading my save I was unable to order any operative to move anywhere.
