Fantastic on the steam deck. 10/10 recommend. Only change I made was to set most of the graphic settings to low/medium and cap FPS at 30. If all settings are low you can cap at 45 fps. Honestly the game looks fantastic on the deck screen even with low graphic settings.
Decreased max refresh and frame rates.
Typing does not work. Only the first letter typed saves.
The game freezes on the login screen. Have tried multiple proton versions. Game I was most looking forward to on the Deck.
There are not enough button options for all the possible ship or communication commands so I picked what commands were most important to me.
The game will not get past the login screen at this time unless in forced experimental. Otherwise it is overall a great experience on the steam deck. The controls take some time to get used to but after a couple dozen matches it becomes second nature. The steam deck is great for playing matches.
