I used Proton 4.11-13 and used the launch flags PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% -dx9 -nointro
. Without the launch flags it wouldn't launch.
Previously I used Proton 4.2-9 with the launch flags PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command% -nointro
and the game would launch. But there would be many freezes where the program aren't responding and have to be force quit.
If you have any controller connected it will read that instead of your mouse and so your cursor would vanish.
I used Proton 4.2.9 with launch flag PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command% -nointro
to eradicate 30 second of freezing whenever hacking, loading, or changing key binding, and to make it so it load high-res textures.
I have a Logitech F710 gamepad that isn't detected by the game.
Audio won't work if you use Proton 5.0. Be sure to use the 5.13.x
It works great albeit requiring decently powerful hardware to run. A great city-building game with immersive setting and an actual story.
There was one crash I experienced when playing On The Edge DLC but I haven't experienced anything after that.
This game just works great out of the box. It's practically a live-service game without the shitty monetization. Go get this now!
I haven't tried multiplayer so I can't tell you anything about that.
Proton 5.13 and 5.0 doesn't work for some reason, it just prepares to launch and does nothing. Reverting back to 4.11-13 enables the game to run.
