Runs completely flawlessly out of the box with no issues and even more functionality than I would expect. This is technically an idle game but there's more to do than idle so give it a try.
Runs flawlessly out of the box with no tinkering or proton necessary; one of the best running native games I've tested on Arch so far
This game runs like butter but you still shouldn't play it - if you know you know ;)
Occasional frame drops from ~170 down to ~30, but seemed to be confined to specific areas and cleared up once I left them
Works out of the box with occasional frame drops; unsure if the drops are down to Linux compatibility or server-side issues; will keep an eye out for further issues
Minor audio missing during some cut scenes and in-game scenes: it will show up in subtitles but no as audio.
With the exception of the audio issue, the games run well. I also got an error message when forced to install DirectX to run it, but I bypassed the message and it seemed to install as normal with no further issues and no gameplay issues stemming from the error message (although it could be responsible for the minor lost audio). Steam also provided a key to active in-game, but I was never prompted to activate it once the game launched (this is possibly only required for multiplayer).
Works out of the box with no issues
Switched to Proton Experimental; had to uninstall Mangohud for the game to launch, as it was freezing on black screen upon launch with it installed and running. Overall flawless experience.
Borked
Unfortunately the game is completely borked out of the box. It doesn't start up, freezing on the initial boot screen every time. I tried multiple fixes including launch commands and everything else I could find online. Doesn't work on Linux at all, at this time.
This game works out of the box, but I did had to force the game through the Proton Experimental compatibility layer (via Steam) in order to obtain my save states from a previous Windows PC. Other than that, no issues.
Borked
The game will not launch with nouveau open source drivers. I got a DX11/DX12 error and said I needed to update to proprietary Nvidia drivers to launch the game. As I am using Wayland with Plasma 6, that's not an option at the moment until (fingers crossed) later this year. Unfortunate: great game if you can run it.
Works perfectly out of the box
