Launcher not working

As of 08.03.22, the old launcher is disabled. The new launcher does not work in Proton. The Steam version of the game is not playable on Linux anymore.
Launcher broken again in update 6.2.
The 6.2 update originally broke the official launcher.
The issue was fixed in the latest proton experimental (as of 2022/08/29) and also the latest Proton-GE (GE-Proton7-31).
The game is now playable again without any workarounds necessary.

Game crashes frequently, but i have the same problem under windows.
Broken since recent update (AMD, Mesa)
The game was running pretty much flawlessly until a few days ago, but no longer starts since the recent update to Mesa and AMD drivers on Arch-Linux.
I tried different Proton Versions (6.3-8, 7.0-5, Experimental and GE-Proton7-42). I also tried various launch options (e.g. PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1) but to no avail.
Notably, with cleared shader cache, the game hangs during shader cache generation (white screen, Game title fades in and out, then it hangs). Starting the game again results in a crash.
Works great (with the right drivers)
I am running Arch Linux and have a AMD Vega 56 GPU. The game was not playable recently with "amdvlk-2022.Q4.4-1". Previous Version "amdvlk-2022.Q4.2-2" ran fine.
Current "radeon-vulkan" package works perfectly though and is usually the better choice anyway.
Online Mode broken since update 3.0. Only offline mode availabe so you are locked out of any progress.
Developers broke linux compatibility with update 3.0
Works flawlessly again after Hotfix 3.1. Add "SteamDeck=1" to launch options for online play

Almsot flawless, issues with some controllers.
DualSense 4 (Playstation 4) Controller does not work. Tried with and without Steaminput as well as with different proton versions. Workaround: install "ds4drv" and run "ds4drv --hidraw --emulate-xpad" to emulate an XBOX 360 Controller. This worked flawlessly (Steam Input was disabled)
