Game installs fine, once started Hangs on EAC preventing launch.
although EAC prevents me from playing the game on Linux, they have added "easyanticheat_x64.so" to their game files, this shows that there may be EAC support for Linux soon, although on the official forums nothing has been confirmed or dated.
Game runs great
Game runs fantastic, I was unable to play it at all on windows but had no issues on Linux. Happy i get to play this game again. I did not have to do any tinkering for it to work for me.
Installs fine, Cannot get past EAC.
Game installs as you would expect, once i try to launch the game EAC fills up and just hangs there. I do not see 'easyanticheat_x64.so' in the game files either. Hopefully they will add support for us and we can all see eachother in the bayou
As long as this is your type of game, you will enjoy how well it runs. I dare say it ran better than my experience on Windows.
gamemoderun %command%
Played during an 'Expedition' which is a timed event, there were many other players in the star systems i was in building/mining doing expedition objectives.
Although i later used the run command "gamemoderun %command%" It was not necessary in order to play the game to the same functionality, i just wanted to benefit from the most of my system as possible as it was not built with linux in mind.
Welcome to Valheim Warrior!
When going to fullscreen native resolution from windowed the game would crash. If i selected "test" before apply it worked fine.
Every now and then had a slight stutter in gameplay.
Only when going from windowed to fullscreen, but if i select the option "test" before apply it worked fine.
Game runs great, I had a few stutters every now and then. other than that during regular gameplay it ran better then when i ran on Windows. I will only be using Linux for Valheim going forward. The issues I experienced i believe are minor and possibly a system specific issue. Have fun in VALHEIM!
