Fix singleplayer mode by editing Engine.ini located in :
~/steamapps/common/Conan Exiles/ConanSandbox/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor
Adding these lines at the end of Engine.ini:
[Settings.ServerList]
ServerMap=ConanSandbox
After adding the lines under Engine.ini singleplayer creation and loading save files works without issues and loads into the game under 1 minute.
Without these lines Singleplayer is unplayable. (Haven't tested MP )
gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Xbox ctrl worked correctly; PS4 Dualshock not mapped correctly.
Anything above 6.3-8 doesn't launch the game (instant crash on loading screen)
Doesn't run on Ultra (High hovers above 60-90 fps ) ultra tanks to 5 fps
Requires Proton 6.3-8; any newer including bleeding edge doesn't work
Ultra tanks FPS to 5
Works well on Experimental bleeding Edge
gamemoderun %command%
They deleted EAC requirement. Make sure to delete the EAC folder on the game install location (SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/OUTRIDERS/) and make sure to delete the prefix/proton folder (680420) aswell to evade any issues (SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/). Both are found on the disk/mnt/media where you installed the game at.
Played 25% off the game on windows; I'm currently at 33% on linux. Operation Flytrap works without needing the fix from Windows (so far)
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=120 taskset -c 0-7 gamemoderun %command%
If your CPU has more than 8 cores it will start freaking out. Outside of this you don't need any thinkering. Just limit the FPS to your screen hz.
Doesn't connect
Doesn't work with anything above Proton 6.3-8
Lags a little bit when physics interact (Zombies pushing vehicles lowers FPS)
Quite an enjoyable Early Access game; still in it's infancy and uses purchased assets (Visuals only as far as I can tell) .
