Works perfect on proton experimental. If you are running X11 on dual monitor make sure to set one of your monitors as primary explicitly in your .xinitrc file. Not setting a primary monitor caused issues for me when moving the mouse out of the application (using DWM).
Example of setting a monitor as primary with xrandr:
xrandr --output DisplayPort-1 --mode 1920x1080 --rate 143.85 --primary --right-of HDMI-A-0
Except from poor optimisation in some scenes, it runs as expected for my hardware. Occasional crashes to TTY. I am on Hyprland.
Fullscreen halves FPS. Use Borderless instead
I am not sure that issues encountered are specific to Linux, appart maybe from occasional crashes. When the game crashes it also crashes Hyprland, but I do not know where the issue comes from at this stage (game?steam? wayland? Hyprland?...).
gamemoderun %command%
X11
Playing in wayland causes crashes and instability. Also problems with stuttering. Swtich to X11
Steam native and not steam-runtime
For me, this game crashes 100% of the time before getting to the main menu when running steam-runtime in X11 or wayland. If I use the native Arch steam package, it works flawlessly. If you are running Arch or an Arch-based distro try running steam and not steam runtime.
(Using Wayland/Hyprland) Sometimes the mouse will not lock in the application after moving focus to another window. Moving the window around (super+click in Hyprland) and resetting to fullscreen in the game options solves the issue.

Game crashes consistently when reflections graphical setting is not on balanced. Otherwise runs flawlessly and consistently.
