Game works fine. Fineshed in 5hrs. EA Play asks for admin permission and game wont run on proton 8. to fix this use latest proton experimental or latest GE Proton. And select yes when EA asks to run game as admin.
Game launches and Xbox login works without tinker. But to get audio working and able to load map we need to install .NET 4.7.2 via protontricks. make sure game is installed and launched at-least once before tinkering. Make sure you have internet connection First install winetricks from package manager and protontricks from github.com/Sirmentio/protontricks . then close game and steam and run following command "protontricks 962130 -q dotnet472" it'll install .net4.7.2 and then audio and loading will be fixed
FPS are slower than expected.
sometimes fps drops to 1 as shader compiles but recovers afterwards
Game works out of the box. No tinkering required. apart from sudden fps drops and sunkenland's weird mouse movements it is been fantastic.
Fps drops by 50% after playing 30+ minutes. reloading fixes the problem. Could be issue with vsync or wayland
