A few hitches, especially when it comes to cutscenes.
Game works fine, a few hitches here and there but other than that it works well.
The game works almost flawlessly out of the box with some quirks
Game loses input if you use the steam overlay. But launching the overlay and closing it again fixes it. The Rockstar Social Club overlay doesn't have a visible mouse cursor so you might have to go around guessing for a bit.

Game's performance is very inconsistent. Sometimes it runs virtually okay over 150fps at 1440p and other times it chugs at 20 fps.
Crashes on startup after last patch

Game crashes on startup with whatever I do. Played it last night no problems, tried again today it decided not to start at all.

Before 3.6.0 it was running fine on ProtonGE9-10 but after the update was released the game didn't launch. Found out through a github issue that it was solved through a proton experimental update.
(Go to your library, search for proton experimental. > right click > betas > and select bleeding-edge(latest and untested)). Launch the game using experimental.
Game crashes when it tries to connect to Ubisoft servers. Had to proxy to localhost to prevent it from connecting to servers.

The default Watch Dogs 2 install script straight from lutris.
Hitches
Whenever it tried to connect to Ubisoft servers the game instantly crashed. Had to add http_proxy 127.0.0.1
and https_proxy 127.0.0.1
in Lutris (System Options > Game Execution > Environment Variables) to get it to avoid connecting to Ubisoft Servers. It kept crashing even when eac is disabled. Other than that, the game runs almost flawlessly with a few hitches here and there when compiling shaders. Very enjoyable experience.
