Does not launch at all.
beta 1 tested on proton 6.3-5 and 6.14-GE-2
Steam version; a black windowed splash screen appears for a moment then nothing....
Runs fine with some minor caveats
Alt-tabbing results in the game freezing requiring a restart. I also did not receive any steam achievements.
There are some meta elements to the game that some other reviewers have confused for glitches. While trying not to spoil anything I will note that there will be a point where you must start a new game by design.
Playing alpha-test 3 0.8.2.874 rev 16745, game runs fine without any adjustments. There are several bugs but these are also present in the windows version as it is in Alpha at this stage.
Some minor graphic artifacts but otherwise runs well and is completely playable in online multiplayer
occasionaly artifacts during gameplay but not a big deal
on first launch alt-tabbing caused screen to lock with major graphic artifacts
Choose the OpenGL mode for flawless experience.
PC crashed repeatedly on Direct X. No crashes on OpenGL
Occasional disconnects, these also occured to friends playing on windows.
Using the "PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%" fix suggested by other users the crashing and audio problems were resolved.
