Game recognized my GPU just fine, performed almost as well as it did when I used Windows on the same machine. Smooth performance.

Steam is popping up with errors on cloud synchronization for some reason after applying Proton and launch tweaks.
I could not get the game to launch without tinkering with the launch options.

Minor occasional stuttering that was quite noticeable when it did stutter. Worse on experimental.
No issues connecting Frontier account, connecting online, etc.
Proton Experimental for some reason offered worse performance than Proton 8.0. I haven't tried other versions, did some settings tweaks to improve FPS and still ran into stutters. Multiplayer connected after forcing proton version, was able to play the game normally.

Psyonix dropped the Steam client ages ago. They dropped native Linux. Now Valve picks up the pieces with Proton. If you're lucky enough to have Rocket League on Steam, it works with Proton Experimental. Native client launches without any online content.

Could not load a cloud save due to missing/incompatible game patches.
A little stuttering here and there.
Solid freeze/crash on autosave.
For this title, I ran into issues when trying Proton. Native runs with a crash when it tries to autosave (I believe). Cloud saving works and cloud loading works as long as it's not to/from a Windows platform save. For some reason one of the DLC for Windows was not the same as Linux in the save and it wouldn't load.
Unable to move past launcher. Loads 30%, then crashes.
Title says it, really. I have tried Proton 8.0-4, Experimental, and Native client. Native client crashes during initial menu load with no mods enabled. Proton versions don't even get the launcher up.
No other tinkers/tweaks were tried for this title at the time of this report.

I have dual-GPU in the laptop that I was running this on, so in order to use the onboard NVidia GPU, I have to set the launch options to include prime-run
Tried basic tweaks. Enabled Proton Experimental, and 8.0-4, and 7.0-6, but the game refused to launch.

I did not want to try anything more advanced than some basic tweaks to see if I could get this game to run. Installed Steam on Manjaro. It was listed as "Native" for the steam deck, so I am wondering how to install or launch that version.
