Completed chapters 1 and 2 and it ran near perfectly the entire time.
There was a music-related bug and a single crash in my playthrough; however, I've seen some Windows users have these same issues.
I tested chapter 2 using the Itch.io version via wine-tkg, but since it seems to start and run perfectly with Proton after installing through Steam as well I'm submitting it here. I had previously played chapter 1 on a Chromebook using Crossover as well, and it ran there without any issues too (besides slowdown, but that's to be expected considering the device was somewhat low-spec).
Works like a charm as long as you apply the right launch flags. Latest kernel, Mesa, Proton, etc. versions are recommended.

The game seems to open 2 separate windows in fullscreen, which can make alt-tabbing slightly more difficult. I'd recommend trying Gamescope.
Can occur when changing some graphics settings.
The game is online by default. Racing against Drivatars works.
Running without any flags causes quite a bit of stuttering and instability. After experimenting a bit with flags, I found the ones provided here to be quite stable.
