This game not playable anymore afer last update. Just get blank screen after launch.
I've tried anything custom command but still get same result, just blank. Try to switch to proton experimental an other version also got same result.
Figure out black screen after updating game or updating driver just by delete shrader cache
For a few days i got black screen when running this game after last update. I've update my driver but get nothing. I tried delete last proton config (steamapps/compatdata/1551360) and check integrity files but have no luck.
Recently i figure out this issue (at least for my case) by deleting shrader cache in:
SteamLibrary/steamapps/shadercache/1551360/
After i delete this folder, the game start smoothly as expected!
NFS Heat only launch EA Launcher
Game not launched properly, only EA Launcher opened and show message "An error on our end caused the launch to fail, try again a little later".
I tried to delete proton prefix to make sure cache issue, buat still got same result. Tested with proton 8, 9 (beta) and experimental.
Only open EA Launcher then closed

Also tested with other version of proton but get same result.
