Limited to 40 fps, set settings to low. Textures and shadows to medium.
Pop up asks if you want to run DirectX 11 or 12. Use 11.
Do NOT run DX12. Runs ok for about 10 minutes but locks up your Deck.
Running DX12 can crash your game and your Deck. A reset will fix.
Game runs display option window on start up. Use touchscreen to confirm settings.
Didn't try windowed mode.
Added "Shift" to back grip to use the Climbing Thing
Minor change to controls and it works just fine as is.
With the game's current "unknown" status, I was hesitant. Game installed, played, and ran as if it were native.
On screen inputs do not match controller, as this is a mouse/keyboard game. Adjust controller to taste.
Disabled gyro (personal preference)
Works well. Some minor slowdown when things get a bit hectic causes frames to dip as low as 18 fps but it didn't last long.
Changed D-Pad controls to Joystick to be able to use D-Pad
Worked fine after install. No major tinkering save for the controls I listed.
Used left back grip buttons for left click
Could use right pad and stick to navigate. Mapped left click to L4 and L5. Could get into first level, however, no control scheme works once the level starts.
Can navigate menus after forcing Proton 5.0-10. However, game does not recognize inputs past the menus. Tried all basic controller settings and binding keyboard inputs to face buttons along with gyro. Nothing worked.
Weird overlap on screen top and bottom - despite adjusting zoom distance this overlap (which looks to be set up for a smaller screen) exists. Not game breaking though.
A nice fun old school GTA romp, but 8-bit. Works out the box fine save for the screen scaling.
Text may be a tad small
Text was a bit small for my liking but it runs well out of the box on newest Proton version.
Runs like it should! Didn't try MP since I'm not 100% sure how Steam Deck and MP work. But single player runs like a dream.
Put down to 30fps to save on battery life. Being a block-based puzzle game it works just fine.
Touch screen needed on launch to approve display/windowed mode. Left as is and worked just fine.
A remake of a stone cold classic puzzle game. Previously reported audio issues have been fixed in newer Proton versions. Plays just fine.
Some Protons provided audio but that's as far as the game gets.
Some of extremely minor slowdown if things get too hectic but an amazing experience
Added 1, 2, 3, and 4 to the back grips
Some slow down when moving and jumping
