Dead by Daylight
Tinker Steps:Launcher: Heroic Games Launcher, Switch to older version: 7.0-5
► Multiplayer
Overall (online):Excellent
# copy a folder -> tick one box -> and VOILÀ
Have it running on Arch linux x86_64, kernel 6.2.5 Its currently March 17th
- Go in DBD's game files (default: ~/Games/Heroic/DeadByDaylight)
- COPY directory EasyAntiCheat to DeadByDaylight/Binaries/EGS/
cd ~/Games/Heroic/DeadByDaylight
cp -r EasyAntiCheat DeadByDaylight/Binaries/EGS/
- In HeroicGamesLauncher, go in Dead By Daylight (Settings)
- Under Other, enable 'Use Steam Runtime'
- (You might have to restart Heroic or your PC idk just try it before doing that)
If you had tinkered with it before you might have to undo what you did, I did these steps from scratch and it worked.
I had some fps drops and small freezes, but that might be my harddrive wanting to die, I'm unsure, just letting that out there if anyone else has stutter issue it might not be only me.
Works pretty well, but you might need to rebuy the game
