Worked great out of the box with no changes or tinkering.
Seems to work perfectly out of the box without any additional tinkering. Install and play.
The graphics are intentionally low-res, but everything looks and sounds the way it should. Text is nicely sized and very readable on the Deck's screen. I only played thru the initial area and traveled to the second area, but it was smooth sailing.
They put out an update that fixed the startup issue. It couldn't connect to the server, but from what I'm reading the server is just down.
1.0 version plays well. Small text and a lot of controls to manage. Can be fun, but is better with mouse & kb
Swapped some buttons
Most text is very small. Scaling options are available in the options, but they currently make some UI elements look wonky.
After tweaking the top community control profile I was able to have a smooth experience. I much prefer playing it on my 5 year old laptop with m&kb though. Handheld is good for exloration and letting your factory cook...but not great for laying down conveyor spaghetti.
The only thing I changed was the controls in the Options menu from Keyboard to Controller. I did this using the D-pad and A button, so I'm not even sure it was neccessary. Plays perfectly regardless.
Some menu text is small and blurry on the Steam Deck screen
Game went to a mostly black screen after quitting. Had to press B to "abort game".
