You need a friend to launch the game on their Windows or Arch Linux machine, and then you'll be able to play it with them without issue.
Unable to create lobbies unless using Windows or Arch Linux.

It cant hosting lobbies correctly
hosting lobbies has problems

some windows pop-up will make you stuck on that pop up with no exit button unless you quit the game

Works just fine with one exception
Cannot host lobbies, but can join.

Game now works out of the box after V1.0.2.
No issues hosting lobbies. Had zero stuttering in-game, while friend on Windows had shader compilation stutters at starts of levels.
Blackscreen

mangohud %command%
Unable to create lobby, but able to join with no issue (this could be my firewall settings, etc)

Mouse focus not applying properly
At first it was unable to connect to the game server, but a restart solved. So far did not run into any of the launch problems reported previously in regards to AC, possíble that the 1.0.2 patch solved the linux compat issues.
They put out an update that fixed the startup issue. It couldn't connect to the server, but from what I'm reading the server is just down.

After version 1.0.2, most things work fine, except for the inability to create your own online room.
Switched to a low quality preset for smoothness and temperature
Cannot create a room, but can join

low spec

Game starts, cannot create room.
Initially there was a problem with anti cheat, which as promised has been resolved. I expect this will eventually be sorted out too.

This game has Kernel-level AC
Yes, it has FairGuard AC (which is another kernel-level one from China as the devs behind from China as well). The devs confirmed they're working for Steam Deck compactibility as well as other distro but I don't have any hope so a refund is recommended if you use Linux mainly as well as protect your wallet.

The first-day version of the game can not run on steamdeck. It needs a patch to fix the problem
I tried launching it with multiple versions of proton but it wouldn't start
I tried forcing Proton Hotfix, Experimental, 10.0-1(beta), 9.0-4 and 8.0-5

All prior reviews have been for the demo of POPUCOM, which apparently ran fine on Linux. The release version is impossible to open.
See this Steam discussion for the potential root cause of this issue: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2543180/discussions/0/598528391554018444

FairGuard anticheat added to full release.
Tried modified executable to call unitymain directly, does not work.
Anticheat currently prevents game from working on Proton. Devs did respond to reviews saying that they're looking to adding support.

Game seems to not boot sadly...
This could be due to my low spec hardware. We need someone with a strong computer to try this with.

From the looks of things, running this game on Linux runs the same way as Windows so I am 50/50 on Gold and Platinum.
This game hasn't properly come out yet, but they gave us a Fest Demo from Steam to play with and thought I should test this out on my Linux PC since I played it on Windows 10 with a friend. Seems to run alright on Linux.

Hosted the room and sent the code to the other person, it just worked.
I played the demo, so things can change. The game crashed the first time I opened, so I changed to GE-Proton and it worked. After playing, I tested it with Proton Experimental and Proton 9.0-3 and it also worked. So it's a problem on my machine or only a first time thing.
