Working before 5.5 with proton 9.0-4, can't start with any version of proton after

I got decent frames before 5.5 with 9.0-4. It was playable. Now I can't run it with any Proton I've tried, including suggested recent versions of GE-Proton. My servers (9 in my cluster now) are running great...client not so much. Steam shows it's running, but no game window appears.

Occasional crashes on Ragnarok due to out of video memory...video memory never exceeds 10GB and I have 12GB

After the ASA 5.5 update, I could not run under any proton version, until I deleted the game's compatadata to refresh it.

Can't load into the game at all. 9.0-4 was smoother on loading the menus. Hotfix was a bit rougher. Neither got past the crash that happens on loading the game. Makes my computer completely unusable and I have to hard reset it. Just the demo version of course. Hope they can get it fixed.
