Mouse easily escapes screen. Fixed it by using Gamescope.
There were no connectivity issues for the game or the voice chat. Worked identically to windows
Works with no issues not also found on windows, the game does have a problem with memory leaks that cause blurry graphical features.
Minor crackling on certain maps on start, often fixes itself

The new launcher has not crashed once for me and works.
I was able to run the game with minimal issues and any that do appear are on windows as well.

Sometimes there are small black boxes at the bottom of screen
Fullscreen has a black line on the borders of the screen, windowed mode fixes this
Seems to happen often on windows as well, verifying files would often show 3 files corrupted and would fix the issue for a bit till it reappears.

Crashes happen occasionally however they do not seem to be Linux exclusive, other roughly 3/4th of the time Windows users would crash with me and 1/4th of the time id not crash while Windows users would
I love the game, even despite its rocky dev balencing team and Sony drama, its a blast and I have had no issues with it. Performace is stable, there are no connection issues, and overall gameplay stability doesnt seem lesser to windows. Some users were saying to use Direct X11 for more stability however I had more issues using -force-d3d11 than without it.
Runs with minimal issue singleplayer, slight issues with multiplayer where I was dropped after every few missions.

Glitchy textures and black lines randomly appearing and disappearing
Capcom comes again to prove that optimization is a dead art, absolutely awful performace, its basically required to use Frame Generation to get to 70s reliably
Hangs GPU almost always on launch, forcing AMDVLK file directory allows it to bypass but that is just borrowed time, will still crash again randomly between every 2-3 hours
Denovo is installed so to aggitate any person trying to fix this games garbage GPU pulls will be slowed down as you change things more than 5 times a day? Get banned for 24 hours. Your unable to even LAUNCH the game to check if you fixed something, best bet I've done was use the benchmark to see launch issues. Anything else? Good luck.
A generally good experience if you run Frame Generation and it doesnt crash. But with the constant crashes It is really hard to play, I will still attempt to as I unfortunately am far passed the refund time, but seeing as how the last patch made things WORSE, outright causing the GPU to hang now on LAUNCH rather than just sporatically for me, I have low expectations of this game working consistantly for another 3 months
While GE-7-25 did not show this issue yet previous versions showed that inputs from both Keyboard and Controller would randomly stop being detected ingame, and character would seem to float while on ground usually fixed after returning to menu

Mouse can sometimes escape fullscreen.
The game tends to freeze for a frame or 2 every so often. While normally it will stabilize naturally it will ocassionally disconnect you out of the game from these freezes. The First Descendant will also have disconnection issues that happen every 3-5 hours. While this seems to happen on Windows as well it happens much more frequently in Linux. There has been some reports that glibc-eac fixes this issue, it has not for me.
Overall the game is playable and I would like to recommend it, but the disconnects will often happen during very inconvient times, resulting in losing rewards from +20min sessions requiring you do to them again and just pray you get the lucky roll to not DC and get the lucky roll to get the item you want.

I observed that certain proton versions will not properly start the game's launcher. I found that 7.2 GE-2 works and prior to that 5.13-6b worked.

Textures would often take a good duration to load resulting in floating heads and arms
Game crashes whenever you Alt-Tab
Often froze during gametime at severe enemy spawns. Ambushes being the main example.
Game constantly crashes at seemingly random intervals. Often causing not only the game itself to crash, but the graphics card as well, resulting in the entire desktop enviorment restarting. Lowering thead amounts and locking FPS reduces the rate of crashes from every match to every 2-3 but never fully stopped it.
Multiplayer when working had no obvious issues. Long term stability is questionable though as I could never test it.
The game appears to have a lot of issues tied to AMD cards both for Linux and Windows. As even on my duel-boot Windows many of the issues described here are there. This game was just not ready for the public eye and needed more time to stabilize.
