Can't hear the game's audio at all when running native. Not an issue if running through proton.
Audio input doesn't work as expected at this time. The rest of the game still playable though.
Vosk voice recognition doesn't work at this time. The developers are aware of this issue and will be fixed eventually. For the time being, you can use text mode for voice recognition.
Additionally, I believe that my microphone's audio is not being picked up at all. But wasn't able to test this with other people.
Using SMAPI mods
SMAPI modding does not work well with Steam Flatpak due to the console not showing up and causing high CPU usage. If this is an issue for you, try to turn off console input.

This is not due to Linux and a general issue with this game.
At an event I had to switch to my windows install because the audio and visuals did not work. The game doesn't work in a VM so I had to boot into my windows drive and play it there. Very dissapointing. Despite this one incident, till now I haven't had any other issues like this.
