Following lighttwo's guidance, I finally got this game working. But I can't get the bindings for snap turning to work, since it requires you to open the console to input some commands, and opening the console does not seem to be possible on non-US keyboards.

Like Arthur below, performance suddenly tanks after approximately two games. Just have to restart the game to solve it
Gives the error "The following components are required to run this program: Microsoft Visual C++ runtime" and then exits
Tried GUI and to install vcrun2012, both fails with python errors
Everything works but it is very jittery when moving my head around. Probably need async projection

While running Pop_OS 20.04 with Proton 7 (which is the newest version of Proton working on 20.04), I had the same issue described below with the audio randomly disappearing completely. After upgrading to 22.04 and Proton Experimental, the issue went away.

Only slight issue is that the initial menu can be placed weirdly if launching the game while not wearing your headset
Game started on wrong monitor but could be put into Windowed mode, dragged over to correct monitor and put into fullscreen again.

Recommend switching to Head oriented locomotion
