Worked completely flawlessly. Native experience.
When I played the game on Proton 6.3-7, my controller was unresponsive and seemed to not be detected, even with Steam Input disabled. On other versions, the controller works.
Multiplayer did not work for me initially on Proton 6.19-GE-1, as joining a multiplayer lobby would cause the game to hang on the loading screen. Multiplayer worked on Proton 6.3-7, but my controller was unresponsive.
I had to play on Proton 5.13-6, and all of the issues seem to have subsided.
Core gameplay ran completely fine and was smooth.
However, on the main menu and the character selection screen, I was experiencing an FPS cap of around 30/40 FPS. This slowed down the menus quite a bit (and gameplay while using the Playtest mode on the character select screen).
Game did not work on Proton 5.0-6 or below. However, on Proton 5.0-7, the game loads and runs absolutely fine!
Game is mostly playable with some infrequent stuttering and display/input issues which can be mostly fixed.
My Xbox One controller would on occasion stop working in the middle of a game session, with the only way to have it function again is to restart the game.
I was able to fix the problem by disabling Steam Input in the properties of the game. From there, my controller worked completely fine.
Significant frame drops on occasion when navigating the overworld. In an inside area, there is usually minimal stuttering and the game is smooth.
Control hints would show in foreign language/keyboard. The input is completely fine, this is just visual as shown here.
After a set amount of time, mouse will be somewhat choppy until the game is restarted. Unsure what the cause is.
Some infrequent slowness during the Daily Brew. Infrequent and far from often.
