If you only play this game online casually with friends and aren't interested in matchmaking you will have a great time.

After using the startup command to disable Easy Anti-Cheat you can play online, but only with people that also have it disabled, otherwise it throws a connection error midmatch so it's fine if you play with friends but matchmaking with strangers is basically impossible.
Runs perfectly out of the box.
Perfectly playable OOTB without mods but I highly recommend them regardless, this pc port is mediocre to say the least
WINEDLLOVERRIDES='dinput8.dll=n,b' gamemoderun %command%
Used various mods such as DivaNoSpy and High Refresh Rate to fix the stuttering and bad frame limiter, use them regardless if you're capped at 60hz or not then use WINEDLLOVERRIDES to load them (and any other mod you wish)
I encourage everyone to mod this game, there are way too many little things wrong with this port that add up pretty quickly, from graphical bugs/changes that only fans will notice to the frame limiter making the game bordeline unplayable at times
The game runs fine, it's totally playable but the crackling audio is too annoying to ignore for a game like this.
I followed the instructions here: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/1147 but no matter what I did, I couldn't fix the audio crackling.
Sometimes the cursor loses focus when you respawn until you alt-tab (fixed with GE)
Runs perfectly and even better than Windows.
The game usually drops frames for an extended time under Windows, probably probably due to a bug with it's API or broken outdated libraries. This is not an issue under Proton at all, making it the definitive way to play the game.
Easily fixable with protontricks although I had to dig to find the solution, none of the past reports work by themselves currently.
Used "protontricks 70400 dswave dmsynth dmusic dmime dsound sound=alsa" on Proton 5.0-10
Without protontricks the audio doesn't work. Works without sound=alsa but it's needed to stop crackling
Booting the game directly into fullscreen causes it to crash on startup but this is a general issue with the game not with proton
Runs pretty much perfectly using proton 8
Very minor artifacting during manga cutscenes
