Trying to view Origin and clicking on invites was basically impossible. Tried: Fullscreen, Windowed FS, Windowed
Sometimes in Menu the mouse would drag alot and arrow keys had to be used.
Origin In Game just does not work at all. (F*ck you EA)
If you're not looking to play multiplayer - You are probably going to have a good experience when using Proton-GE as regular Proton doesn't work as well or at all.
If you're looking to play multiplayer - Bad time, because of Origin being absolute trash.
Enabling any antialiasing causes a black screen in Doom 3
- Just do not turn on antialiasing
- Doom 1-3 play smoothly and completely fine
You can use default steam proton - if not, proton-ge will definitely work.
Initially the game launched 1440x900 though it can be easily fixed in settings by selecting the correct aspect ratio and resolution
Works and plays flawlessly on Proton-GE, normal Proton not tested
EAC enabled servers don't work, otherwise runs excellent. (Make sure to up your swap, since it consumes alot of memory though)
As of now, 31-1-2021, it is not possible to join EAC enabled servers. However Facepunch is planning to implement EAC's linux compatibility after Steam Deck's proper release.
Inescapeable tearing on X11, heavy stutter on Wayland
- Proton-GE could be mandatory based on other reports
- Easily modable even without external mod manager/organizer
- SKSE64 is runable but was unable to get SkyUI going
