Ran higher FPS until recent game update.
Seems game not like high core count CPU. Limiting to 6C12T works fine though Stack: AMDGPU / RADV / Mesa 1.23.3 / Proton 8.0-5

Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition requires ray tracing (DX12_2). Currently Proton requires the Launch Option to enable DX12_2. You can try Hairworks, if game crashes then it is not just me, disable Hairworks. Drivers: AMDGPU, RADV, Mesa 23.2.1-2
Play Fine. Looks good. Seems perfectly stable.
Drivers: AMDGPU, RADV
Install using proton 7.0.6. When it crashes after clicking on the EULA, change to whatever proton you want, experimental works for me. Run game; everything works fine.
Just struggles with the EULA, which I think we all do :-)

As with all Serious games make sure to enable mouse smoothing in game option, or movement/display is real jerky. Thought it was display problem until I remembered mouse smoothing. Not Proton specific, same in windows and all previous Serious games, feature? Drivers: AMDGPU, VK_AMDVLK, Mesa 1.23.2.1-2,
Works fine.
No performance issues. Arch,plasma,wayland, AMDGPU,RADV,Mesa 1.23.3-5-1, Proton 8.0-5
Just Works.
GFX stack: AMDGPU / RADV / Mesa 1.23.3.5-1 / Proton 8.0-5
