Ninja Kiwi still does regular maintenace on the game so the servers are still up and fully supported; so your co-op game will be as good as your wifi strength.
You can use your touch pad or touch the screen to drag and place your towers just the same as you would drag the towers with your mouse on pc. The game plays as fast and smooth on the steam deck as it would on the computer, and the multiplayer and cloud save settings function as intended, so you can transfer your pc progress to your deck and vice versa, as well as enjoying multiplayer provided your wifi is good.
loading the game from the steam deck gives you "intial error (error code:v0xE2003053). close all applications and try again. If this does not help press 'Error Report' and send the report to product customer support." Trying this doesn't help the game run, it just repeats the error message back to you.
it took a little getting used to, but playing postal 3 on the steam deck felt better optimized than the pc and kinda fun to play
Loading in a new stage or entering a new cutscene can cause the game to stutter graphically and music to skip for a few seconds but usually it catches up and loads you in/back, otherwise it will crash the application and end your game session
This is easy enough to get running without having to tinker too much, you will have to change the compatibility to launch the game but after that it will play
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition runs like a smoother console game on the Steam Deck
i added in commands so pressing the back grips would pull up the console in game (possible by making a ` command combined with a shift sub command)
Running the game is as easy as installing it.
Toree 3D is a wacky retro style platformer that is surprisingly charming on the steam deck
Playing on the steam deck definitely improves the immersion experience, it's a fun couple of hours
