Runs out of the box.
Once selected "continue" in title screen and the game misloaded but just reopened the game and it worked flawless. (only happened once)
No audio, will lock at loading screen, and stuttering in the only area I can load, game will either crash if played too long or lock up if I try to exit area because of the loading screen issue.
Steam suggested using proton 3.16-9 but I selected 4.11-1 and it ran out of the box. Performance wasn't what I expected but replacing the CChromaEditor.dll file fixed the stutters, still platinum cause same problem/fix occurs in windows. Had one crash in the whole play-through. Above my 144hz refresh rate most of the time at ultra setting and using vulkan api. Link to cchromaeditor file https://github.com/Riesi/CChromaEditor/releases/tag/EMPTY1.0, just replace it if stutter/framedrops are occuring.
Had to manually select proton 4.11-8 in order to play at 144hz, it was locked to 60hz on the default proton selection.
Initial loading screen took a while during first boot, but was fast every other time. Locked 144fps except in a few cutscenes, no issues with gameplay or sound. Recognized xbox one controller immediately.
Had to select openGL as the renderer.
When I first booted the game I was presented with a black screen, but I could hear the game audio. I pressed alt + enter to activate windowed mode and got an image, then proceeded to select openGL as the renderer and had no more graphical issues.
Game crashes if I try to save the game. Quick save (F6) and quick load (F9) works and is what I used.
Set steam launch option: "PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%"
This was without disabling esync, sounded perfect afterwards.
Game had significant framedrops, would fluctuate between 30-60 but even went as low as 10-20 in certain staged sequences/underwater.
Doesn't work without launch parameter "PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%". With this tweak the game ran flawless.
