Dead by Daylight
There isn't too much tinkering to do, but it is annoying to own two copies of the game on different platforms.
Tinker Steps:Launcher: Heroic - Epic Games, Custom Proton: GE-Proton7-49, Set launch options, Changed configuration
PROTON_EAC_RUNTIME=.../Steam/steamapps/common/Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime/
Copied ./DeadByDaylight/EasyAntiCheat folder into ./DeadByDaylight/Binaries/EGS. Unticked EasyAntiCheat Runtime in Heroic Launcher.

Overall (online):Excellent
Just connected to a lobby and it worked. After every update, however, the EAC folder needs to be recopied.
For the best setup that still works as of early March, follow this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZMzbUP6FwQ

Dead by Daylight
Pretty much works out the box now. I've uninstalled the Epic Games version and installed the Steam version, with no settings changes.

It has fantastic Xbox 360 controller support and feels great. It only works on GloriousEggroll 5.21-GE-1 for me - not a version higher or lower than that.
Game must be installed to ext4 drive
