There is a new intro video that causes the game to no longer load
New intro video broke the game
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% is needed otherwise the main menu WILL NOT LOAD as intro videos make the screen green on experimental and freeze on 6.3-4
Only PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% was needed.
Requires experimental proton due to Ubisofts constant meddling. Also nvidia 510, 530 or 535 drivers.
Works out of the box. I've put 400 hours into this game. Love the community modes.
Only Co-op campaign works, but it does work!
You may have to switch proton version a couple times to find one that will play co-op multiplayer. The GE ones did not work for us.
Desync, unlike other users protontricks cannot find ucrtbase2019
Update so winetricks --version reports 20240105 or newer, then install ucrtbase2019
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 %command%
Stuttering, clipping in and out. Fixed by adding PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 to the command
Audio issues are easily fixed adding PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 or maybe even lower values.
Normal Proton had audio cracking issues, Glorious Eggroll fixed the audio crackle with no additional tweaks.
The font is a bit strange but otherwise worked as normal
The font is strange and sometimes gets cut off.
