Sometimes the output device for sound out of nowhere changes leading to loss of all sound, seems to be more of a system issue but it only happens when playing the game.
Yeah, offline part of the game works without any problems.
First time launching the game it took a lot of time to load from launcher, seemed forever stuck on laucher loading screen. Now it launches normally as one would expect.
Game just doesn't work with any Proton version available in game's properties on Steam
Although using the latest Proton 5.0-7 the game seemed to load to the game menu and menu music started to play, I was presented with just a black screen and a stuck mouse pointer. I also tried as someone mentioned changing Steam Overlay and SteamVR active settings, that did not have any impact on behaviour of the game.
State of War works fine with these settings. On the other hand the State of War: Warmonger crashes before main menu shows up... so for it to work Steam Overlay must be disabled.
