So here is how I got it working without much tinkering: First I tried 7.0-6, as many people here recommend, but I got an empty Link2EA window, I could not et pass that So I switched to proton experimental and now the EA login form loaded normally, and on it I wsa able to login and link my steam account to the EA account. The game wont run, though: after the form it would just crash silently So I switched back to 7.0-6, and now it just worked.On 7.0-6 it uses an old launcher and it seems the only not working on it is link to EA part. Once thats out of the way, it just works Ive only played so far, about 6 hours in, havent found any problem
Just changed to Proton 7.0-4. Works flawlessly, I finished the game with no crashes. Videos play normally, everything working
Just did the same thign that worked with Cold Steel 1: changed to proton 7.0-4. Played 5 hours yesterday, no crashes, everything pok, videos ok
didnt start at all with the default proton, but once I switched to 9.0-4, it started and run perfectly. Played for almost 5 hours, the whole prologue, found no issues
