Crashes back to desktop
On starting up this game. I could get to the main menu and click single player or join game, but when logging in to the game world it crashes back to the desktop. Never used to do this. Tried different proton versions and also proton GE only to get same results.
Fixed this by installing gamescope on Zorin OS 17.3 when I was using that, because I couldn't connect to any server. Now uusing CachyOS and
Sky wasn't rendering properly.
Make sure that you have all gaming related techs installed before running the game. It makes life alot easier. I'm fairly new to linux so it took me a while to figure this out.
Looked like the other islands was on fire
Apart from the other islands look like the forests are on fire. This worked stright away to say it's only a demo up to yet. Worth a look for any suvival island fan.
Just worked. I used proton experimental for this and it just worked with out any other tinkering.
Hair colour sometimes changed on log in from what picked in the character customisation menu plus when using ray tracing there was too much shine on the character near bodies of water.
Ray tracing a bit off and hair colour (for me a least) changed but apart from that it ran really well.
Open up Graphicconfig.xlm and alter Dx12 setting in there from 0 to 1 and save it then reload game.
laytancy problems. Had to lower graphics.
You really need to alter the "graphicconfig.xlm" file in the games install folder to eliminate the textures missing problem.
