Despite videos not working, you should be able to experience the game just fine through subtitles offered in the game itself.
video cutscenes have no audio as well.
Video cutscenes do not work, show as a missing texture.
After a bit of tinkering, you should get the game to work 100%!
When originally on GE I was only lead onto a black screen.
Switch to experimental, add the english utf8, you'll be fine
It works smoother than when I played it on windows, would recommend for those looking into rhythm gaming on linux!

You are unable to log into muse dash account, resulting in no leaderboards.
You do need to add the launch options linked to this review in order for the game to work, some people do experience only black and red screens but that issue seems to be patched.
As long as you run it on proton, you should have absolute minimal issues when playing this mahjong game.

Runs natively out of the box thanks to renpy, has no issues at all for those fellow degens that use linux instead of windows.

Some lag, but I'm using a lower end PC with less RAM
Wizard101 works perfectly fine on Linux using minimal modifications to Proton, I had some issues with lag but my hardware is on the lower end with less RAM compared to the original machine I would play this game on. Other than that, have fun until the paywalls hit hard!
