Minor stuttering
Certain areas suffer extreme framedrops, I suspect this is a dx12 issue.
Occasionally launches with a "Fatal Error!" popup, but generally launches fine after trying again.
Fight stick won't be detected if plugged in after launching the game
> Would a typical gamer enjoy playing this game on Linux as you've played it? I'm not sure anyone can enjoy this game, but it does work.
Full screen didn't work, played in windowed mode (i'm using i3wm, so your milage my vary, no pun intended)
Not sure if i'm doing anything wrong but I couldn't use the water scooper thing on the hot rocks in the sauna. Was able to pee on it though.
Models get stretched and textures disappear. This doesn't last forever and isn't too bad for the most part. At times it will make the game unplayable and a restart will be required.
Crashing gets really bad at the start of chapter 5
Tested on both Proton Expiremental and GE-Proton, crashes are an inconvience for the first half of the game but they aren't too bad. Once you start chapter 5, however, crashes are more frequent than checkpoints and the game becomes unplayable.
When the game runs well, it feels great. Hoping the graphical glitches and crashing get sorted soon.
VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr %command%
Random shining lights and some other minor artifacts. Some require restarting the game.
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8.dll=n,b" %command%
HOST_LC_ALL=ar_SA.UTF-8 gamemoderun %command%
After a few games, performance degrades and graphics settings are forced to the lowest settings. A restart fixes it.
Framerate is usually < 30 fps when first starting the game or loading a map. After a few moments in game fps returns to normal. Game start up can take a few minutes as well (After cinematics, before main menu).
I would consider it playable, but far from an optimal experience.
