Despite hundreds of in-gane bugs, overall experience does not differ from the Windows version. Simply install and hit play for everything to run smoothly.

Everything to low with only dynamic shadows and all shadows enabled.
Some vegetation textures like palm leaves on DD2 are jittering.
After playing for some time the input lag spikes high slowing the whole game rendering pipeline. This resolves either by itself after some time (1-3 minutes) or a game reset is needed.
Overall I can play fine but these weird graphical issues and input lags can be annoying. This might be the GPU driver issue but during my investigation I didn't find any evidence for this thesis.
Game runa smoothly out of the box, no tinkering needed.
Set everything to low without upscaling.
TDP set to 9w, refresh rate set to 40.
Sometimes audio was out of sync but after restarting the game issue was fixed .
Without TDP and refresh rate limit the game dries out the battery in no time with Steam Deck working extremely loud. Mentioned settings allow to play comfortably without the need for headset to cancel vent noise.
Using controller was the only option for me on the desktop.
While using excluaive fullscreen the game was jittery like it was trying to insert a frame from the future in the current render.
While in exclusive fullscreen the mouse was captured in the bounds of a screen making it impossible to rotate the view.
I use my PC to stream games to Steam Deck using Steam Link and after settings this game required some configurations to be done beforehand. Easily enough this game required the game to run on either windowed or borderless fullscreen modes for everything to run smoothly.
When it plays its great but juggling proton versions to complete the game was a real chore.
Some of the game sections didnt work well with one proton version and vice versa. Game crashed when moving from one region to another and I had to switch to different proton version each time that happened. I ended up with a whole Excel sheet with region name and proton version it works fine with.
User experience does not differ from the typical Windows user point of view. Just install and hit play for it to run perfectly fine.
I use my PC to stream games to my Steam Deck using Steam Link. This game was running smoothly out of the box for this usecase. No additional tinkering needed.
