Crashed and wouldn't launch again.
Game started windowed, then went to fullscreen. Crashed when I went back to windowed.
Stuttered a little bit
Doesn't open
Hit 'PLAY', wait a little bit, and the button goes from 'CANCEL' back to 'PLAY'. It does this every time I try to run the game.
In kexengine.cfg, changed r_rhirenderfamily "vulkan" to r_rhirenderfamily "d3d11"
Low framerate compared to framerate on Windows 10
I know my hardware isn't ideal, but on Windows 10 this remake of Quake ran amazing with high settings. I was really disappointed to see the low framerate when playing on Linux.
Menu doesn't display correctly, but can hear mouse rolling over menu options

Not many servers, but when you find one it's lots of fun!
Switching to an older version of Proton solved my issue
Game ran fine out of the box, controller support is great
I don't use a wheel and peddle set, so I can't say anything about that. But, controller works fine.
Sometimes when first loading the game, it would crash before I could log in. Trying again after the crash, the game doesn't crash, and I can play without issue.

I switched from Proton Experimental to 7.0-1
Was a little frustrating when game froze on launch.
First time launching the game, the game froze, wouldn't close. Had to restart laptop. Worked fine after restarting.
Crashed whenever I would try to load one of my old saves from Windows 10
Install Fluidsynth to have music
Installing latest SDL2.dll fixed this issue. Get it from here
Game ran slow to the point where it wasn't enjoyable to play. Switching to older Proton version solved this.
Tree leaves would flicker unless I turned 'tree fade' all the way down, making them 2D
It works, but DO NOT Alt-Tab.
Windowing was completely screwed after hitting Alt-Tab ONCE.
This only happened in the menus, during gameplay everything was fine.
Crashes when changing color depth, or when trying to open map list.
