Game crashes if you try to change the resolution in the options, but changing it in the config files worked.
Added/changed the following settings in /Dark Sector/Configs/DS.cfg (on a 1080p display):
Graphics.DisplayAspectRatio=FullScreen4x3 Graphics.FullScreenSizeX=1920 Graphics.FullScreenSizeY=1080
Occasional frame drops during cutscenes, nothing serious
Both keyboard/mouse controls and default Xbox controller controls appear to work with no issue.

Ran it with Gloriouseggroll 6.9-GE-1 and the intro video worked, no other problems.
Wouldn't Run
Tried every method mentioned on this page, and several different versions of Proton. Game would either hang on the Steam loading window or crash with a Unity window on the initial loading screen.
Some choppiness when entering new areas, but not as bad as a lot of other games.
After an hour or so, weapons and enemies disappeared, had to restart.
Game froze when quitting to desktop.
You may have to periodically quit and reload the game, but it otherwise runs about as well as on Windows.
Using default Proton, the game would show a Unity window then crash. Switched to GloriousEggroll and it ran with zero problems.
