Works fine with Proton 4.11, did not start with 5.13 or Linux Runtime.
The interface seems quite slower than with the native version.
The native version works flawlessly, but the DLC subscription is restricted to Windows (and proton) for now.
As per Drose2211 report, had to delete/rename the tutorial_intro files in /GWENT The Witcher Card Game/Gwent_Data/StreamingAssets/videos/gwent. After that, there is no tutorial video, but the game works fine.
Performance are really not very good compared to Windows, but the game works fine apart from that
nearly half the FPS I got with my Windows dual-boot :/
Works great on PC and Deck
The Steam Deck controller is even better than the keyboard and mouse controls of the PC version.
Works perfectly with Proton 4.11
Crashed at startup with Proton 5.0. Forcing 4.11 is the solution.
Playable, but not the best experience
Alt-tab and such does not work reliably
Click for attack and Ctrl-click to view details about the upcoming fight. But sometimes if you press Ctrl it is not detected and you attack instead of viewing the success probability... Moreover, sometimes the windows loses focus and you need to alt-tab to regain it.
Works perfectly out of the box.
Played with a lot of mods (100+). Works perfectly. Just had to download the mods manually (no Nexus Mods Manager on Linux), and use Wine for the Script Merger (I was unable to make the Witcher Mod Manager work though, but it is not required). Mods distributed as .exe files are more tricky, but it is manageable, and there are really few of them.
