Won't Launch
I can't get the game to launch, I think it might be an issue with the Intel Arc graphics card I have, they don't seem to have great support on Linux unfortunately. I tried several proton versions and launch options but nothing worked. Asking for a refund
Still won't launch with Intel ARC GPU
I didn't check here before buying this game since it was listed as Steam Verified, obviously that was a mistake on my part. I tried the suggestions listed here as well as the many suggestions on forums, I tried various proton versions, and double checked that everything was up to date, but it still won't launch. The game will get to the epilepsy warning and then crash. Some earlier posts were hoping that with the 6.2 kernel and/or Mesa 23 would help but they do not. I am using the latest 6.6 kernel as well as Mesa 23.2 and it still isn't working. I have already asked for a refund but I'm hoping that they will get a fix eventually

Audio looped in main screen
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command% add that to launch options to fix audio.
Like others said, install protontricks and run command "protontricks 214510 d3dx9_41" in the terminal
Won't launch with Intel Arc Graphics
Despite trying many differrent proton versions, including GE, and various launch options, the game won't launch, it only shows a popup box saying "No suitable D3D12 adapter found. Please check minimum requirements specified on the store page." This seems to be an issue with most DX12 games, they run fine on Windows but still can't run at all on Linux/ with Proton. This seems to be a known issue, and no one seems to have any idea of when a fix may arrive so for now I'm asking steam for a refund and hopefully I'll either get an AMD card or shudders dual boot Windows.
Installed with Proton 5.13, needed to install Origin twice, removed the videos as suggested below and then could run. The controller buttons were messed up but I then installed Glorious Eggroll 6.0-GE-1 and now the game runs perfectly
