Other than audio issues, ran perfectly out the box
Audio wouldn't adjust in volume for some reason. Everything was either on or off
Runs as expected with little to no issue
Needed to make sure my headphones were marked as the fallback device in PulseAudio for mic to function, otherwise worked out the box.
Unsure if this was due to running in 4k, but the game defaulted to ratcheting up the resolution scale to max which ran terribly. Reducing the scaling fixed this issue
Ran exactly as I was used to from previous Windows experience
Runs as on Windows
The game runs notoriously badly regardless of graphics settings on windows, no different here
I had an initial issue with running the game (would open the launcher but be unable to open further) while I was still running off an ntfx formatted hardrive, but once I installed it onto an ext4 formatted ssd this issue disappeared
No sound on menu, and menu wasn't interactable. Mouse and keyboard both non-responsive
Game runs about as poorly as it does on Windows, expect to need to tweak audio settings in particular on first setup
As has been noted in other examples below, the game has no mic selecting function and reverts to the "Windows default microphone". In practice for me, going into PulseAudio and setting my mic to the Fallback option under input devices worked.
It also has a very low preset volume for ingame chat, so expect to need to bump your ingame mic volume and boost other players volumes for the game to be playable
This is a common problem to Windows users as well, for some reason the game won't recognise button's mapped to a mouse for use specifically with the push to talk. It will allow you to map it and then not register an input. The game does allow mapping anything else to mouse buttons without issue
Again a problem Windows users also have, the game will occasionally crash when loading into a match. While playing with friends, it usually happens to at least one or two people over the course of a session. It does however allow for hot-joining back in so no reset to lobby required unless the host crashes.
Game ran as expected, experienced slowdown towards the lategame, but within expected parameters
Despite the game saying it runs natively, wouldn't start without forcing it to run via proton
Played via remote play, had a tendency to drop the other player. Not an issue I've otherwise had with remote play on my distro
