I installed GE 7-28 on my desktop pc. I was able to get to the menu and hit start. I would get a loading screen, but then nothing.
Removed /videos directory
Works on Deck, but not on anything else (yet)
At times the mouse would leave the active window, and when leaving a game the mouse would not be visible in menus. This game has been in development for a long time and is still not in a very polished state, so it could be a result of the engine rather than proton.
MAV is a great game that needs more publicity. Check it out!
Unfortunately if a game crashes every 15 minutes or so I cannot call it playable.
After a certain amount of time, I seem to get a crash report stating, "Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource." I am running an Nvidia GTX 970. The card meets the specs and runs solidly on very high settings. I suspect this may be an Nvidia graphics driver compatibility issue
Won't launch from Steam launcher
I was able to install the gog version of this game from Lutris and Heroic Games Launcher. I was able to run the game when launching the Lutris installation from my Steam Library in desktop mode. However, when I tried to launch from game mode it crashed on startup.
I tried numerous proton versions, and even the suggested luxtorpeda version, and no luck. I cannot get this game to launch from the game mode launcher
