Played the whole game on Linux without any problems. Native version (OpenGL) works good, but performance is lower than on Proton (Vulkan).
Mouse did not work on Proton GE7.18-1. After forcing experimental it worked flawlessly.
Enjoyable experience.
Fullscreen was glitching my screen every second or two. Fixed it by going to in-game options and disable fullscreen.

Works only with Proton GE, otherwise crash on launch.
Fun story, great audio and works flawlessly
Besides frame rate drops during driving and textures missing, I've had a very good experience until Act IV (4/8), when textures went missing
The gamelauncher in directory "~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Watch_Dogs/support/GameLauncher" named "UplayInstaller.exe" needs to be replaced (because outdated) by the Ubisoft Connect launcher found in https://ubisoftconnect.com/en-US/. It needs to be in the same directory as the "UplayInstaller.exe" with the same filename.
NOTE 1: Don't start the game before putting the right launcher in the right directory. If you did, you need to reinstall the game and follow the instructions metioned above.
NOTE 2: Replacement of game launchers is mainly needed if using 2FA for your Ubisoft account. You can always disable 2FA to get access to your game and re-enable it after (not recommended).
The radio music while driving falls out of sync because of the frame rate drop during driving. There is no render distance option, so there is nothing to do with this issue, besides turning radio off.
When arriving at Act IV (4/8). The texture go missing no matter what. Tried reinstalling the game, validating the game files, restarting the story and switch proton versions, but no luck. With multiplayer I mean Online Contracts. For me it worked perfectly fine. People were able to connect to me and me to them.
The textures missing makes the game pretty much unplayable for me. Without the textures loading the game looks very simplistic and cartoony. I hope it will be fixed soon so I can play the whole story without this issue on Linux.
