~/lsfg %command%
it always crashes after a couple of minutes
it seems to crash on bazzite after a bit of time so im pretty sure fedora distros just aren't supported by the PancakeTAS version of lsfg for now anyway.

Lossless Scaling doesn't work as a standalone, but framegen works with the new trick and command/plugin
Lossless Scaling (LS) won't start, that isn't new and it most likely won't change in the coming years. However, thanks to PancakeTAS and his magic, we can get framegen to work nearly perfectly. You do need to install more things tho either with a command on desktop mode or with a decky plugin. So far, i can confirm that LS framegen works really good in older PS2 titles that are emulated. Newer titles are a hit or miss, but mostly hit and this will most likely get better with time. So, should you get LS on a Steam Deck? I think that yes, you should. It's a great tool and framegen works great in titles that do not require tight controls, due to framepacing. I'm happy with what we have.

Install the app and then install the translation layer to have it work in games. See https://github.com/PancakeTAS/lsfg-vk for more information on how to do this.

lsfg-vk: https://github.com/PancakeTAS/lsfg-vk Plugin Deky: https://github.com/xXJSONDeruloXx/decky-lossless-scaling-vk

now you can just install lossless scaling, install dependencies according to the guide from the github and use the app even on linux
ENABLE_LSFG=1 LSFG_MULTIPLIER=2 %COMMAND%
link to repo: https://github.com/PancakeTAS/lsfg-vk

Follow all the steps from here: https://github.com/PancakeTAS/lsfg-vk/wiki/Installation-Guide
After that, you can apply it to any game via environment variables. For Steam games, you add ENABLE_LSFG=1 LSFG_MULTIPLIER=2 %command%
in the launch options. Seems to work great so far although games need SIGKILL to close.

Lossless Scaling Frame Generation now has a native Linux Vulkan Layer!
LSFG_DLL_PATH="Lossless.dll" VK_INSTANCE_LAYERS="VK_LAYER_LS_frame_generation"
Use this instead: https://github.com/PancakeTAS/lsfg-vk (Requires that you own Lossless scaling)

For those looking for alternatives to Lossless scaling's Frame Generation.
Use NVIDIA's Smooth Motion instead
For those with NVIDIA RTX 50 Series GPUs that want a Spatial Frame Generation implementation like LSFG, you may use NVIDIA Smooth Motion added in driver version 575.51.02. To enable NVIDIA Smooth Motion Append the NVPRESENT_ENABLE_SMOOTH_MOTION=1
environment variable.

Not made for Linux
Not yet made for Linux. A shame given how good it is

it doesnt even start
it doesnt work :(

Lossless Scaling açılmıyor
yeni proton sürümünden sonra prgram açılsın
This program is not needed on Linux
But still, here's error: Could not load file or assembly 'Windows.Foundation.UniversalApiContract, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'

It will not run due to the program being made for Windows.
This is not a game, yet a software to enable FSR/NIS filtering to a program after scaling it to the entirety of your screen or a custom resolution.
You can just run Proton GE if you really want FSR...

Don't launch
I guess it's not designed for Linux
