Runs perfectly at 1440p on high settings on my intel NUC
Battery unfortunately drains very fast.
Sometimes force feedback, does not work and you need restart the game for force feedback to work (g29).
If I use Virtual Reality (VR) I can only play after installation. If I start the game after having played the first time, it does not start the screen with menus and it freezes on the boot screen
The game just works out of the box with Proton. Just install and play. I'll suggest running it with GE-Proton7-17 for the most stable experience, but it's not really necessary.
Works almost perfectly for me Out of the Box using Proton 6.3-6 except audio is very stuttery on both Proton 6.3-6 and Proton Experimental.
Audio is very stuttery and basically unusable. Tested with Proton 6.3-6 and Proton Experimental, broken in both.
Despite the sound issues on non-experimental proton versions, its running quite smooth.
There wasn't any sound in the game with any proton versionn, or PulseAudio Setting I tried. It only has sound with Proton Experimental.
Works reasonably well on Proton 5.0-10
Audio is broken on 5.13-6, works fine on 5.0-10
Alt-tabbing crashes the game
If they are casual yes, if they are someone who is REALLY into racing games would be mad, no audio too.
Could not detect my headset might be because of my specific headset I have idk
It had to manually select controller then it was fine, also could not hit escape to back up i had to click to back up to main menu. Also could not manually set my buttons so i had to leave it on automatic
Avec proton 5.0.10, le jeu est magnifique et plaisant à faire.
Obligé de passer avec proton 5.0.10 sinon pulse audio n'est pas détecté et donc pas de son.
Performance un peu en deça de ce que propose windows

after leaving pCARS3 and switching to another application (alt+tab), my steering wheel wasn't functioning anymore. No inputs by the wheel were recognize.
Problems with the multiplayer seems to be an problem in general, not limited to players on Linux.
"Tabbing" out of pCARS3 breaks the input. Steering wheel no longer recognize.
Sometimes ForceFeedback is missing. Fixed it every time by entering the options menu for FFB and change some settings by turning FFB intensity up or down.
