Running in one area Elizabeth's dress was partially missing, and no leg was underneath where the dress was missing. Only happened once in one location
sometimes the audio would become choppy after waking the deck from sleep mode with the game running. it would persist until the game was restarted.

I changed the settings to 45 Hz and 6 Watts
It is a great game that runs well on the steam deck

Turn the graphics down to medium, didnt make much difference and saved battery.
Runs great straight out of the box!

I had to open the game files and add the exe file to my libary then I forced the game to run with proton doesn't matter which one
not being able to launch the game normally without using desktop mode
if the game doesn't launch after forcing proton on it open the game files and look for the exe file then add it to your games list and force proton on that.

I love bioshock infinite and I can certaintly say this is a good way to play it, though d-pad use kinda sucks due to how the deck is layed out.
a controversial bioshock but a great game nonetheless, try using the native version on your steam deck to save disk space
i had to settle for the second best graphics pre-set, the best graphics pre-set causes severe slowdown, i didnt really look into why
the linux version works very well, i could recommend it over the proton version if disk space is an issue
I'd read that this game had some issues on the deck but I experienced none of these. Pretty much a faultless experience from start to finish.
lots of setup considering the most recent september 2022 "quality of life" update more like quality of death game breaking update
run the game directly from exe from now on
Needed to force 7.0-3 for the controls to work. Experimental would not allow any input to the game. After switching everything worked well
The Windows/Proton version has significantly better performance and battery life than this "native" port... but at least its consistent.
The right thumbstick look was inverted even with "inverted" turned off everywhere. I had to invert the right thumbstick vertical movement in the SteamUI controller config (not in-game look settings) to fix this issue.
All settings had to be set to normal except for dynamic shadows which had to be set to low.
Common, frequent texture pop-in. Frame drops when loading areas or turning quickly. Performance crippling dynamic shadows.
The issues with the "native" executable are not being taken seriously enough. If you compare it with the Windows version through Proton Experimental you'll see the difference. Through Proton I get a locked 60fps with all settings on Ultra and 3+ hours of battery. The "native" version (actually run through a similar compat layer) has inconsistent performance. Loading new areas causes slowdowns into single digits. Texture pop-in is very bad. Battery life only 2 hours. Fan much louder. Dynamic shadows TANK performance unless set to low.
Would consider this OK if I didn't have the Proton version to compare to, which unfortunately crashes randomly on FMVs frequently (like the intro videos), occasionally crashes on loading screens, and takes longer to open each successive time, but runs like a dream once launched.
I guess, just pick your poison. I chose to be patient with crashes at startup but having max graphics instead of dealing with worse performance, battery, and graphics.

Small stuttering sometimes
Bioshock Infinite runs good on Steam Deck, even with up to 60fps. Sometimes I had small stuttering but this was a minor annoyance. Had overall a good experience with the game.
Only happens if you set the graphics to ultra. Goes from a steady 60fps at very high way down to 8/9fps on ultra
When I closed the game my steam deck crashed

Game works great on the steam deck. Was able to run at a mostly smooth 60 fps on the high graphics preset. With the exception of some slight hitches when loading into new areas. Also the quit to desktop button results in a crash reporter dialogue popping up.
