Still need to be installed Zolika Patch to get fully widescreen aspect ratio.

My old pc ran the game using windows just fine, but the same pc with linux, under proton ge, runs the game very bad, with some crazy lag peaks, even after tinkering with esync fsync wined3d etc...
Out of the box works fine.

Works perfectly
Keyboard works fine, but with a controller sometimes it brakes by itself in the middle of the race, couldnt solve it, this issue does not happen in any other games with same controller
Works well, no tinkering and no bugs, controller works well even with some inaccuracies

Almost perfect, apart from some text weirdness
Text flows out of its boxes at times, potentially even cut off by the edge of the screen

Controller issues on startup but playable after
Game doesn't properly detect controller on startup and can't switch from keyboard in input settings. I switched to Steam Input but it still doesn't detect properly until after I start a race, after which it works perfectly. Other games don't have this issue so not sure how to get the controller working before startng a race.

A versão Linux da GOG não dava tela cheia
O jogo nativo Linux da GOG foi rodado no Heroic, mas não apareceram as opções de configuração gráfica. A versão Windows rodou sem problemas com Wine-GE. GOG's native Linux game ran on Heroic, but no graphics configuration options appeared. The Windows version ran without any issues with Wine-GE.
Игра шла идеально.

So, with the addition of a bespoke Deck Verified patch, this game controls better and has correct glyphs on default which is something my PC doesn't have. The problem is, as I discovered playing is that you will randomly slow to a crawl or just stop accelerating. I found out through Reddit that its because the movement mapped to up and down on the left joystick is the shift and stop so you'll, like me, accidently move the stick. The fix is to remove the bindings for up and down completely, as with automatic, you only use left and right + accelerate anyway.
Played on Deck OLED at 800p90fps with 6-10w power draw and 5-7hrs battery life. Sleep functionality is perfect here and I found myself using it a lot.

Removed the bindings of the up and down arrows from the left analog stick as those could trigger unintended brake activation.
Changed some bindings.
It's game of its time, rather unfair, but satisfying to win on professional difficulty.
Perfect out of the box with default Proton. (If turbo mode destorts screen, delete SaveGame/device.cfg)

Whenever the game runs at full resolution it just displays a black screen and nothing else.
Workshop and everything appears to work as intended execpt, as I mentioned the game displaying a black screen at full resolution.
Buttery smooth at full HD and modest/default graphical settings - just like I remember from Windows!

...but the game itself is not worth playing

Well done Valve and Proton Team
Low, not lowest setting and stable 60FPS

Flatout was bought from GOG and installed/played using Heroic Games Launcher selecting the windows version.

Funcionou sem problemas nessas versão

Starts well (singleplay)
Played with Proton 8.0-3.

Everything has to be manually bound once
The game only supports gamepads duing the races. Menus require the keyboard. So you have to map the arrow keys to the d-pad and escape and enter keys to the grip buttons. Then you need to go to the control options and map the sticks and trigger for racing.
After all that, the game works fine, except there is no vibration feedback even if you have that option enabled.
ROG Zephyrus G14 running custom kernel for ASUSCTL. Profile mode set to Balanced got around 60-100 with settings cranked to the max.
Working very good
works right out of the box
Runs like native, no issues at all.
There's a patch you can download from here to fix some minor bugs, but the game runs okay without it. I didn't try multiplayer.
Runs perfectly
slow to start
