Runs perfectly even on regular (newest) proton, but Glorious Eggroll always gives better fps. 10/10!

Funciona bem
The game has ran great so far out of the box. Fun game as well.

Missing, stretched, or corrupted meshes.
Los videos del menú de mejoras pueden hacer que el juego se congele. Parece por una falta de codecs de video. Instalar VLC en el entorno de wine en el que se ejecuta el juego los instala y soluciona el crasheo, aunque no hace que los videos se reproduzcan

CPU usage is way lower than on Windows and barely stutters. On cutscenes the framerate occasionally goes into the lower 30s but it's not a big deal.

Changed TargetPlatform=DirectX12 to TargetPlatform=DirectX11 in dmc5config.ini, tried https://github.com/d-tool/mf-installcab_updated_24-07-03 but got a dll error
In the "Customization" menu, the game tries to load a previews but freezes and not responding
My tinkering did nothing

Quedas de fps

Works perfectly
Works Great

No big issues
Some cutscenes, like mission 13 intro cutscene, will have poor performance.
History of DMC cutscene does not display and cause FPS to oscilate.
During gameplay the game runs the same as on Windows. I haven't changed anything so tinkering might fix the problems I have experienced.
Works just as well as it did on W11 on the same hardware, though there are some weird issues with full screening

My steps to get SSSiyan trainer to work on Arch linux:
- Put fluffy mod manager into "steam games path/common/"
- Add fluffy as a non-steam game
- Force compatibility with proton
- Launch fluffy through steam, it should be able to detect your game file as Z:...
- In the game mod list, go to downloads and get RE Framework
Add this to launch options, it works with mods that uses dinput8.dll
WINEDLLOVERRIDES='dinput8.dll=n,b' %command%
- Alternatively, Download Protontricks -> Run Protontricks -> Select "Devil May Cry 5"->Default Wine Prefix->Run Winecfg -> In Winecfg, go to library and add "Dinput8"
- Check RE Framework in mod list
- Launch game to test if RE Framework is running
- Exit the game, Repeat and test SSSiyan Trainer
- If you crash on title screen, go to your DMC5 game directory, edit dmc5config.ini, change from DX12 to DX11
TargetPlatform=DirectX11

Update, Mods do works.
While the game still ran great, turns out mods do work. I guess I didn't let the mod manager re-read the game archives or something.
In case anyone wants to know. I use Fluffy Mod Manager. Just extract the file and then run it with wine. I use lutris to make it easier with file navigating when locating games. It'll be a good Idea to make a shortcut for your all of your games since wine, as far as I'm aware, won't let you find hidden folders, unless they're not hidden for whatever reason, and save time when navigating the manager where the games are installed. To download mods and where to them in is the same as windows, there are videos for this.

The game runs but not with mods.
The game ran great like Windows. Though if you want to mod the game, it does not play with mods. The game will run with mods untill it requires to load the files it that have been modded. My game will only load in a couple seconds. But with mods, the game will be stuck in the loading screen slowly maxing the loading bar without doing anything afterward. It might work running through wine but I don't know how well will the game run as of now.

Edit /SteamLibrary/common/Devil May Cry 5/dmc5config.ini, change those 2 lines from dx12 to dx11: Capability=DirectX11 TargetPlatform=DirectX11
Works great and has no problems, but without those changes the game would just be black.

Whilst I could launch and play the game this was a subpar experience.
The arena in Mission 19 disappeared and using Dr.Faust causes the screen to fill up with artifacts
weird stuttering

Sometimes the lighting is too bright in some places where it shouldn't be.
DMC5's Coop Trainer mod from Nexus mods works flawlessly on Linux, and the overall experience is great, sometimes there are minor bugs due to the game's net code.

Proton GE will make the in game videos on the customization screen work. Otherwise this game works perfectly well on regular Proton or GE.

works flawlessly out of the box with proton 8.0-2

-dx11
Videos in the in game shop did not function correctly. Also while browsing the shop the performance of the game drops significantly.
Proton-GE fixes the video playback problem, but also breaks GI in certain places.
Also i played exclusively on DX11 for better performance. Results may differ in DX12.

. Cutscenes glitch and crash on Dx12
Can't Alt-Tab out, use workspaces instead (on Xfce)
Controller (Xbox One wireless) has to be connected before starting the game. If it disconnects during the game, there's no way to reconnect, have to restart the game.
Cutscenes and any menu that renders a scene (like the shop menu with Nico in the van) use much more GPU than gameplay (e.g. avg ~70% GPU in gameplay, 100% in cutscenes/menu) and start to drop frames or lag.
Gameplay is great 60FPS with fullscreen FSR (via GE-Proton), render at 1472×828, target 1920×1080, medium-high settings.
Cutscenes glitch and crash in DirectX12 mode. No problems in DirectX11.

Absolutely, as I did. Am no power user, a newbie to Linux, yet played this perfectly. The alt-tab thing was only a minor nuisance.
Alt-tabbing away from the game would not allow me to open up the browser or use other games. Only fully closing the game worked
No issues.
No idea how to fix the alt-tab thing or if there is some tinkering method to do it.
Flawless experience; Deserves a platinum rating!
Played through the game from start to finish without any issues. The Co-op "Starring" System works perfectly as well.
