After the first 3 days, I was thrown out of my friend's multiplayer lobby when we all went to sleep. At first I assumed that's how the game worked (it's not, you're supposed to be able to keep playing), but after my friends remade the lobby (progress was saved), we were able to continue like normal.
The game has an option to save footage captured in-game to your Desktop. As of now, instead of saving to your Linux Desktop, it will save to the Desktop folder in your compatdata folder (located in your steam library folder, under /steamapps/compatdata/2881650/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Desktop )

Game can freeze the first time it ever loads a level. After force-quitting and restarting, said level will load and play without issues.
The demo just works
At time of writing, the game isn't out yet, but I figured I'd leave the first report anyways. As in, there's nothing to report, really. The only slightly strange thing is that the game seems to pause comepletely (as in, the audio cuts out and even loading sceens/screen transitions freeze) when not in focus. Everything continues as normal when the game window is in focus again, though.
The game uses Q/E and the scroll wheel for the same things. Map the dpad L/R to Q/E and UP/DOWN to Scroll Up/Down, that should feel fairly intuitive. Other Keys you'll need are F, M, TAB, SHIFT and maybe CTRL. I exported my controls as a community layout, too.
Lowered CPU speed slightly, although going too low did noticeably impact performance.
Occasional crackling, but that could be either by design or due to my battery settings.
Starts in 1600x900, put it to 1280x720
Default stick/trackpad sensitivity is INSANELY high. Setting it to 25% felt good.

Switch Pro Controller, default layout, but the "Capture" button toggles gyro aiming on and off. If the controller isn't connected when the game starts, or is dis- and then re-connected while it's running, said "Capture button to toggle gyro" mapping stops working, even though Steam says it loaded my controller config. Opening the controller config settings through the Steam overlay gets the capture button to work as a gyro toggle again, though.
Game runs great as long as it's in focus, but tabbing out can crash the game. Crash seems to happen the moment the game window loses focus. Doesn't happen every time I tab out, but consistently enough to be notable. Crashing seems more likely the more the game is loading at the time, but that's not 100% consistent either.
Playable, overall a better experience than the Switch port. If only this had that port's official gyro support, too.
FPS limit 60, Allow Tearing ON, TDP Limit 9-12. I've enabled half rate shading at times to save battery when playing on the go, but that makes most text unreadable and produces flickering and messes with some ingame effects in some areas of the game, so that's an "emergency" measure at best.
The launcher needs a mouse mapping to click on the "Play" button. My right trackpad is mapped to "mouse" just for this, but the touchscreen works, too.
Game can crash after prolonged sessions, ~1 hour
