Crashes used to be constant and make the game unplayable on normal Proton, but on Proton GE it's only occasional and doesn't seem to happen once you're past the beginning of the game.
Game is unplayable on normal Proton alone, but Proton GE mostly fixes the problem.
Absolutely, as I did. Am no power user, a newbie to Linux, yet played this perfectly. The alt-tab thing was only a minor nuisance.
Alt-tabbing away from the game would not allow me to open up the browser or use other games. Only fully closing the game worked

No idea how to fix the alt-tab thing or if there is some tinkering method to do it.

The only situation in which I experienced slowdown was when I hibernated the computer with the game on. Turning it back on made the game several times slower. Otherwise, it runs perfectly.
The problem I've faced is something I've seen happen to other games on Windows, so idk if it's a Linux problem.
